據中國衛生部透露，山西省一名兩歲女童被確診感染H5N1高致病性禽流感。

這一診斷是由山西省衛生廳在星期六（1月17日）通報的。

患者是山西省呂梁孝義市的一名姓彭的兩歲女童。

據稱，這名女童1月7日在湖南發病，11日隨外祖父母回到山西後病情加重。

家人在1月14日帶她前往山西汾陽醫院求診，對症處理後病情沒有明顯好轉，她又在當天晚間被轉往山西省兒童醫院。

1月17日，中國疾病預防控制中心和中國醫學科學院對患者樣本進行覆核檢測，結果為禽流感病毒H5N1核酸陽性。

目前，這名女童病情危重，醫護人員正在對她進行全力搶救。

按照《人感染高致病性禽流感應急預案》，山西省在星期六已經啟動突發公共衛生事件二級應急響應，並對與患兒有密切接觸的所有人員實行嚴密醫學觀察，不過截至目前還沒有任何人出現異常臨床表現。

中國衛生部表示，已向世界衛生組織、港澳台地區和部分國家通報了有關病例。

這名女童已經是今年以來中國第二例確診的H5N1禽流感病例。

一名19歲的黃姓少女1月5日在北京死於H5N1禽流感。據稱她發病前曾經在河北省買了9隻鴨子，並曾清理鴨子的內臟。

目前還不知道山西的彭姓女童是否或者如何接觸過禽類。

截至目前，中國2003年以來已經有21人死於H5N1高致病性禽流感。

據中國衛生部網站報道，1月26日，廣西壯族自治區又確診一例人感染高致病性禽流感病例，並已經死亡。

據信該名患者梁某現年18歲，男，現住廣西北流市。

他於1月19日發病，即日前往當地衛生院就診，後於1月24日轉入玉林市紅十字會醫院，但經救治無效死亡。

經調查發現，患者發病前曾接觸過病死禽。

衛生部的報道說疫情發生後，當地政府高度重視，截至目前，所有密切接觸者未出現異常臨床表現。

與此同時，中國衛生部已就有關病例情況向世界衛生組織、港澳台地區和有關國家通報。

此外，中國貴州省一名29歲男子經確診感染H5N1禽流感病毒，目前病情危急。

自從1月份以來中國已經連續出現多起感染H5N1病毒的病例。 據中國衛生部網站的消息，這名姓周的患者1月15日發病，當日前往醫院就診。

報道說，"流行病學調查發現，患者發病前有活禽市場暴露史。"

經確診，他感染了H5N1高致病禽流感病毒。

自2003年以來全世界共確診399例人感染H5N1高致病性禽流感病例，其中252人死亡。

H5N1禽流感病毒主要是在禽類中傳播。但是專家擔心，這種病毒有可能出現變異，導致人與人之間相互傳染。
