Guido Van Wymersch, le chef de corps de la zone de police Bruxelles-Ixelles, a reçu un blâme du Service public fédéral Intérieur parce qu'il aurait influencé sa propre nomination. Le bourgmestre, Freddy Thielemans indique cependant qu'il gardera son poste.

Le blâme a été signé par le ministre des Affaires étrangères Karel De Gucht, et pas par le ministre de l'Intérieur Guido De Padt, parce que celui-ci s'était déjà prononcé à plusieurs reprises sur Guido Van Wymersch en tant que parlementaire.

"Oui, j'ai reçu un blâme mais les autorités n'ont pas tenu compte de ma défense", a souligné le chef de corps de la zone de police Bruxelles-Ixelles. "C'est pourquoi je vais interjeter appel devant le Conseil d'Etat", explique-t-il.

Op de Parijse luchthavens Orly en Roissy liepen de vluchten gemiddeld een half uur vertraging op. Tot een kwart van de korte en midellange vluchten is er afgeschaft. In de Parijse regio stond meer dan 225 kilometer file.
